One of the hippest restaurants in Manhattan, Balthazar is never short of activity. Keith McNally's famed restaurant is reminiscent of a Parisian brasserie, with the mouth-watering food to match. Highly recommended are the steak tartare, croissants, mussels, and frites. Truly a touch of Paris in Manhattan!

Antique yellow ceilings, stained mirrors, and red leather banquettes make up the décor of restaurateur Keith McNally’s classic-feeling Parisian brasserie. With an iced shellfish raw-bar, a café section, an in-house bakery, excellent food, and an extensive wine list, Balthazar is one of the best spots in town.

It’s tough for me to choose between the scrambled eggs in a puff pastry or the to die for hazelnut waffles with warm berries.

Fantastic French cuisine in a setting reminiscent of a bistro in Paris. While it sometimes can get a bit crowded, it's more than worth it for the amazing short ribs and shepherd's pie.
