“Even though we felt a little like we were staying at an Ikea, the Opus provides a nice upscale environment for the traveler who wants something out-of-the-ordinary. Service was great, aside from one incredibly unpleasant woman at the front desk the day we checked out. But the real point of excellence was the door staff. At first they would seem a little reserved, but once you got them to let their guard down they were all really awesome. They gave us rides around town, hooked us up with ideas for entertainment, and were a real pleasure to deal with.In fact, all of the staff were really professional, helpful, and friendly.The location is also very central, and we rarely needed a car to go anywhere. Everything was within walking distance, and when it wasn't the door staff would either offer to drive us, we grabbed a short cab ride, or walked to the nearby SkyTrain station.”
